Awakening to Your True Spiritual Identity
Imagine waking up from a deep, vivid dream. At first, it seems important and intense, filled with feelings and experiences that feel very real. But as moments pass, the details fade, leaving behind only a faint memory. This analogy mirrors what happens spiritually when we move beyond our physical existence—when we “wake up” spiritually, returning to the awareness from which we originally came.
We are beings on an endless journey of exploration. This adventure unfolds across billions of years and numerous lifetimes, both physical and non-physical. Each lifetime is like an individual dream, offering unique lessons and experiences. Upon completing our physical lives, the identity and personality we held dear slowly dissolves. What felt crucial and pressing in life becomes dream-like and distant, still meaningful but no longer central to our true identity.
Returning to our spiritual awareness is a joyous experience. It’s like stepping into a warm bath after being out in the cold, offering relief and comfort as we recall our true nature. We recognize ourselves again as souls connected deeply to an infinite source of love, energy, and consciousness. In this state, we clearly see the purpose of the limitations we experienced: to learn, grow, and bring love, light, confidence, and faith into our journey.
Spiritual awareness reminds us of the truth: we are not limited, separate individuals but aspects of a vast, interconnected consciousness. Think of consciousness as layers: each of us is a soul, part of a larger oversoul that includes many souls. These oversouls further connect into even greater oversouls, reaching all the way up to an ultimate, absolute oversoul. This absolute consciousness holds every experience of every being simultaneously—past, present, future, and every parallel reality imaginable.
This highest level of consciousness—the Absolute Oversoul—is pure love, presence, energy, and the foundation of all existence. From its viewpoint, all realities occur simultaneously, and the distinctions of space, time, and separation vanish. In truth, there is no separation at all; there is only unity, only “oneness.”
However, it’s important to remember that consciously experiencing the entirety of this ultimate reality isn’t something we directly achieve in our current form. Even our highest self, or the higher self of our higher self, hasn’t fully grasped this complete oneness. Only the Absolute Oversoul itself fully embodies this infinite perspective.
Yet, our spiritual practices and personal growth help us align more closely with this highest state of consciousness. Every act of love, mindfulness, meditation, and personal development narrows the gap between our individual vibration and the universal frequency of pure consciousness.
This journey of reconnecting and remembering who we truly are is endless—and beautifully so. Each moment provides a fresh, unique opportunity to explore our spiritual selves from a new angle. The goal isn’t to reach a specific endpoint but to continually deepen our connection with the infinite love and awareness that form our true identity.
In remembering, we experience profound peace and joy, realizing that the struggles, limitations, and challenges of our physical life hold deeper meaning. They guide us closer to spiritual truth, helping us understand that we are always connected, always loved, and never alone.
As we awaken spiritually, we embrace the profound reality of our infinite nature—rediscovering who we truly are, again and again.
