Relax into Vibration: Navigating Resistance and Finding Alignment

Life is a constant dance of decisions, and at times we may feel resistant or unsure about taking certain actions. Whether it’s a major life decision or a simple task, we often find ourselves torn between what we should do and what we want to do.

Bentinho suggests that whenever we face resistance, we must first pause and assess our internal vibrations regarding the action at hand. Why don’t we want to do something? Is it genuinely out of alignment with our core, or are we simply avoiding it due to some negative or fearful thought patterns?

It’s vital to get clear on this. If we don’t feel like doing something, it might be a sign. It could be guidance from our inner self signaling that it’s not in alignment with our true desires. However, sometimes our reluctance stems from avoidant behaviors or negative connotations we’ve associated with a particular action.

Imagine having to meditate. Some might feel it as a “should” – a task that’s forced upon them. But when you drop that should, and ask if you genuinely want meditation to be a part of your life, the answer might surprise you. The resistance often lies in the negative definitions we’ve applied to actions that are inherently neutral.

The key, as Bentinho points out, is playfulness. Infuse your day-to-day experience with playfulness, and watch the resistance melt away. Instead of seeing activities as chores or burdens, perceive them as playful expressions of who you truly are. Many times, what we label as “work” can easily transform into “play” with just a shift in perspective.

Moreover, the spiritual journey we embark on also comes with its set of “shoulds”. Many of us might think, “I should meditate more” or “I should work harder on my spiritual alignment.” But once again, if we drop the “should” and genuinely ask ourselves what we desire, we often find that we naturally gravitate towards these practices, not out of obligation but out of genuine love and passion.

In the words of Bentinho, “Kick yourself in the butt to clear out the resistance.” Get clear on what you truly want. And once you do, you’ll find that actions flow from a place of joy, alignment, and excitement.

To sum it up, as Proverbs 3:5-6 in the Bible says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” By trusting in the divine guidance within and genuinely understanding our desires, we can navigate life with grace, ease, and playfulness.
